Federal state statistics service (Rosstat) has published a report on the volume of housing construction by regions and Federal districts of Russia for the 1st half of 2017. According to statistics, Tatarstan took the first place in Volga Federal district and the fifth place among the subjects of the Russian Federation. As of July 20, commissioned in Tatarstan 1 252,8 thousand square meters of housing.
