This was announced by the head of the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture,Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Gallyamov at a meeting of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on housing policy and infrastructure development. “Based on the results of assessing the state of the sources of centralized water supply, 20.1% do not meet sanitary requirements. They are all underground, - said the speaker. “With regard to the provision of high-quality drinking water in the context of municipalities, the situation is as follows: the indicator is higher than the national average in 18 districts, and in 28 districts it is lower.”
Gallyamov noted that 88 municipal organizations provide water supply services in the republic. The length of water supply networks is 18.6 thousand km, the degree of wear of which, according to Tatarstanstat, has reached 54%. 5930 km of networks, or 31.9%, are to be replaced.
The head of the department emphasized that the high deterioration of utilities leads to accidents. So, since the beginning of this year, 2,748 accidents have occurred in the housing and utilities sector. As the analysis has shown, the largest number of accidents occurs in the field of cold water supply - 2227 cases, or 81% of their total number. “The difficult financial and economic condition of public utilities does not allow them to renew their fixed assets on a large scale and at the proper level. At the end of the second quarter of 2021, 24% of organizations in the housing and communal complex are unprofitable. There are 24,699 communal infrastructure facilities in the republic, of which only 55.6% are registered in-state or municipal ownership. The rest 44.4% are not registered and require transfer,” — he said. He added that in order to restore and improve communal facilities, a republican program is being implemented to provide the population with drinking water in settlements. The volume of its financing for 2010–2020 amounted to 7.1 billion rubles. 2697.7 km of the water supply network, 410 water towers, 403 artesian wells were built and reconstructed.

All large construction companies in Tatarstan working on the construction and reconstruction of facilities with budget funding will switch to the use of information modeling technologies (BIM technologies) from January 1, 2022. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Kudryashev at a briefing on the introduction of BIM technologies. “We have about 400 construction companies, of which 15% are large. All large contracting organizations that work as general contractors at our budgetary facilities will be ready to switch to the use of information modeling technologies by the beginning of 2022,”- said Vladimir Kudryashev. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a process based on the use of intelligent 3D models. With this technology, architecture and construction professionals can plan, design, construct and operate buildings and infrastructure even more efficiently.
