Dear architects, designers and urban planners!
On behalf of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the World Architecture Day! Architecture is a reflection of the degree of development of a society. Looking at historical monuments, we have the opportunity to touch living history, imagine the life of people and the culture of a particular era. At all times, architects were famous for their unique talent to transform space, fill it with beauty and meaning. They created real masterpieces, which were then passed on as a legacy to future generations. In the modern world, architecture is inextricably linked with urban planning. The use of high technologies in design, digitalization of the construction process allow us to quickly and efficiently solve serious problems. Of paramount importance are the issues of creating a comfortable and healthy urban environment, decent living conditions, work and recreation for our citizens. Today, the architectural appearance of the cities and regions of our republic is being improved in accordance with the requirements of the people living in them. Largely thanks to your professional skills, Tatarstan is transforming and becoming even more beautiful. Dear Architects! I sincerely thank you for your creative work. I wish you creative inspiration, bright projects, the realization of the most daring ideas! Happiness, health and prosperity to you and your loved ones!

This is especially true this year, since in an era of uncertainty and unpredictability, the post-pandemic world needs ideas for new buildings more than ever. Young architects don't need to be advised, they need to be given opportunities. This competition is just such an opportunity: for the participants to prove themselves, and for us - to discover new names and see what the future of our architecture will be,” - he said.
