For the first time in history, an international standard for basic construction terms in Russian and English has been published - ISO 6707-1: 2020 “Buildings and structures - Vocabulary - Part 1: Basic terms”. The document introduced the Russian language into the practice of international construction standards and approved a unified terminological base. Dmitry Volkov, Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, noted that the publication of the bilingual standard is a landmark event for the harmonization of the provisions of Russian regulatory documents with international standards. The work was also carried out in close contact with the working group of subcommittee 2 of ISO TK59 “Buildings and structures”, where the possibilities of correcting a number of terms of the standard ISO 6707-1: 2017 “Buildings and structures. Vocabulary. Basic terms". The official ISO working languages ​​in which originals of ISO standards may be published are English, French and Russian.

A free program for training specialists in the field of project financing "Proekt.F" will be held annually. Alexey Perventsev, Director of Human Resources and Operational Efficiency at DOM.RF, spoke about this at the online conference “Housing Construction in New Conditions: Lessons from a Pandemic, Course of Development and Interaction of Key Sources”. Aleksey Perventsev also added that due to the pandemic, the format of work for the company's employees has changed, about 70% of employees continue to work remotely. Let us recall that the goal of the educational program is to train the country's first certified specialists in project financing for the banking sector. DOM.RF plans to graduate up to 50 specialists from different regions annually free of charge.

The draft strategy for the development of the Kazanka River embankment was presented today to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The presentation took place at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. The strategy was presented by the architect, urbanist, sustainable development specialist, co-founder of Orchestra Design studio Eduard Moreau. The project assumes a vision of the development of coastal areas of the river for the period 2020-2030, the creation of the largest ecosystem of coastal parks, which will become an economic and educational resource for the sustainable development of Kazan. According to the architect, Kazanka Development Strategy will form new scenarios of citizens' behavior, in which active healthy leisure by the water. The presentation was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, Aide to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Khanifov, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and others.

The share of overdue mortgage debt in the republic decreased to 0.64%. The decline in mortgage rates and government support measures have led to an increased demand for mortgage loans in Tatarstan. In the first half of 2020, the volume of mortgage loans issued reached 45 billion rubles, which is 18.4% more than a year earlier. According to the National Bank of the Republic of Tatarstan, the portfolio of mortgage loans in Tatarstan as of July 1, 2020 amounted to 228.9 billion rubles and has grown by 7.7% since the beginning of the year. In January - June, Tatarstan residents received 21.6 thousand mortgage loans, which is 6.6% more than a year earlier. Compared to December 2019, the average mortgage rate in Tatarstan decreased by 1.4 percentage points and amounted to 7.6% per annum in June. The share of overdue mortgage debts as of July 1 was 0.64%, which is lower than the national average of 0.94%. For comparison: a year earlier, the share of overdue debt in Tatarstan was 0.68%, and in Russia - 1.04%.
