The best project of reconstruction of the Volga embankment in Kazan will be chosen according to the results of the international architectural festival "Eco-Coast 2018", which will be held in Kazan from 4th to 6th of October. This was announced today at a press conference in the IA "Tatar-inform" by Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Kudryashev. "The idea of organizing the festival in Kazan was put forward in November 2017 by the president of the Union of Architects of Russia Nikolai Shumakov after the next festival. Last year it was held in Nizhny Novgorod. Kazan is one of the Volga cities, we have vast territories in contact with water" - the speaker said. The festival "Eco-Bereg" is held since 2010 annually in September-October. Its founders are the Union of Architects of Russia and the Union of Moscow Architects. "In Kazan we have chosen for detailed transformations the territory from the River Port to the Kirov dam. As initial data, we gave the contestants a vast territory - from the so-called future of the Kazan financial district - Staro-Tatar settlement. This is a part of the cargo port and industrial areas. In the future, it is planned to reorganize these industrial sites, including Admiralty Sloboda. The participants of the contest are offered quite large areas,"- the deputy head of the Ministry of construction.
On September 15, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regional municipalities in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilites Irek Faizullin reported that as of September 14, as many as 1,553,600 square meters of housing, which makes 64.7 per cent of the plan for the current year, have been commissioned in Tatarstan.
Presidential State Housing Fund of the republic has reported to the statistics agencies on 121 houses for 3,873 apartments with the total area of 212,800 square meters.
Faizullin continued that since the beginning of the current year the State Construction Inspectorate and State Labour Inspectorate of the republic have carried out 1037 inspections and issued 303 decisions on imposing fines for the sum of 11m 823 thousand roubles for violations of labour safety rules and regulations.

Today in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan under the leadership of First Deputy Minister Alexei Frolov, the planned sixth meeting on preparation of the fuel-energy and housing-communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan for the heating season of 2018/2019 was held. According to the information of the State Housing Inspectorate of RT, crimping of in-house heating systems for 11,7 thousand apartment buildings (98%) was carried out, passports of readiness for 16,5 thousand houses (97%) were issued. The meeting discussed the issues of readiness for the heating period of life support systems for educational and health institutions, sports facilities and social protection facilities. It should be noted that according to the filed applications from social institutions the Executive Committee of the Muslyumovsky District decided to start the heating season 2018/2019 from September 13.
In the Leninogorsk district of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2018 will be overhauled in 17 apartment buildings. Repairs homes in the villages of Shugurovo, Timashevo, Podlesny and Leninogorsk, - informed the press service of Glavinveststroy RT. "As part of the implementation of the long-term capital repair program in 2018, 13 apartment buildings are undergoing comprehensive repair, which includes: repair of entrances and facades, roofs, repair of in-house engineering systems for hot and cold water supply, heat supply, power supply and water disposal. The total amount of financing for the district is more than 156 million rubles,"- the press service said. To date, construction and installation work has been completed by 85 percent. So, in the three houses of Leninogorsk, as well as in the village of Podlesny, work has already been completed. Recall that in 2018 in the Republic of Tatarstan will be overhauled 995 apartment buildings in 43 municipalities with a total area of 5.3 million square meters.

Until September 17, several teams of architects will create new concepts for the development of socio-cultural centers of the republic. This became known at the press conference dedicated to the event. The journalists were told that the peculiarity of the current "MARSH" is the development of an architectural restart of the Tatarstan cultural centers, as well as youth centers and teenage clubs. The rethinking of habitual social objects this year will involve 220 Tatarstan professionals, including architects, designers and even sociologists. The teams will work under the guidance of mentors - domestic and foreign architects, who have already created many projects around the world. To this end, the organizers of "MARSH" invited both Russian masters and architects-practitioners from Georgia, France and Armenia. Already on September 17, the general public will be shown ready-made concepts, several of which can be implemented into practice.
Since September 1, 2018 in Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering for the first time in the Republic of Tatarstan, students began to study in the direction of preparation "Housing and Communal Infrastructure". One of the first universities in the new academic year, three groups of bachelor students, who decided to link their professional activities with the housing and communal services. In the new academic year, 62 students started to study the bachelor's programs in the area of training "Housing and Communal Infrastructure" in the field "Organization of activities in the housing and communal services complex". One group of masters has been recruited for the Master's program "Urban Management". Upon completion of training and obtaining a state diploma, graduates will have a wide choice in professional work. In particular, they will be able to work in public administration bodies in the sphere of housing and communal services and local self-government bodies, in state and municipal enterprises and institutions of housing and communal services, at enterprises.
In the framework of the overhaul program in Zainsk, 17 apartment buildings will be repaired by the end of the year, in 9 of them will install thermal points that will allow residents to save costs on housing and communal services. According to the press service of Glavinvestroy RT as part of the long-term capital repair program in 2018 in Zainsk district construction and installation works are carried out in 17 apartment buildings. Two houses - in the village of Poruchikovo, the rest in Zainsk. To date, implementation is 80 percent, and in six houses construction and installation work has already been completed. The keys to the apartments were given to participants in the republican social mortgage program, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, families with many children, orphans, and also doctors-grantees. Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimayev, Deputy Minister of Education and Science RT Stanislav Andreev, Deputy Executive Director of the State Housing Fund under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Nikiforov and other officials took part in the ceremony. Ilshat Gimaev greeted the assembled residents and noted that today's settlement is far from the last in 2018. Until the end of the year, new settlers must enter into 2 thousand 584 apartments of eight houses in the 8th quarter of the residential complex. In total, according to the sketch of development, during the three stages of the construction of "Salavat Cooper" 94 houses will be erected for 25,4 thousand apartments. At the same time, 19 houses of the first stage are already inhabited.
