A meeting was held at the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan on the results of the implementation of the program to resettle citizens from emergency housing. Sergey Stepashin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Housing and Utilities Reform Facilitation Fund, Konstantin Tsitsin, Director General of the Housing and Utilities Fund, and Irek Faizullin, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, held a meeting on summarizing the implementation of the program for resettlement of citizens from emergency housing. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Justice M. Ibatullin, the head of the Zelenodolsk municipality A.V.Tygin. Opening the meeting, Head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin spoke about the implementation of the Republican targeted program for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing for 2013-2017. He also noted the planned indicators of the program for the resettlement of citizens from the emergency housing stock of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019-2024. “As part of the Program, 20,190 citizens living in 8,007 emergency rooms improved their living conditions, including owners of 6,398 emergency apartments who received comfortable apartments, owners of 1,609 emergency rooms expressed a desire to receive monetary compensation,” - he noted. Summing up the event, the general director of the state corporation Konstantin Tsitsin stressed the importance of timely outreach to the population regarding the resettlement of citizens from the emergency housing stock, as well as the need to use energy-efficient tools in the construction of houses. Sergei Stepashin, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Housing and Public Utilities Fund, outlined the main directions for the development of a program for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing stock for 2019-2024.
