Regional centre of public control in the sphere of housing is preparing to publish in 2017 a rating of management companies serving the housing Fund of the Republic. On October 21, speaking at a regional meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that since the beginning of the year 26 accidents have occurred in the construction industry of the republic, which is 30 per cent less as compared to the same period last year. The number of fatal cases have decreased by 5, while accidents with severe injuries – by 7 cases.
On October 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 1st International Forum on Integrated Urban Environment Design in Innapolis. Russian First Vice-premier Igor Shuvalov, Russian Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Mikhail Men, heads of ministries and departments of the republic, foreign and Russian experts in the sphere of urban planning, architecture, and developers took part in the event.
On October 20, the first international forum on the design of the living environment opened in Innopolis. Hundreds of world-renown experts arrived in Tatarstan to discuss new approaches and standards in the sphere of housing construction, and modern principles of urban environment development.
