Tatarstan completes 84 percent of year’s housing construction

In the 11 months of 2011, 2,007,6 square metres, or 84 percent of the year’s target, of housing has been put into operation in the republic, Tatarstan construction minister Irek Faizullin told a today’s meeting at the Cabinet of Ministers chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

He thanked the 27 municipalities who had reached the year’s target.

A great help in fulfilling the 2011 task is the presence of near-completion buildings in 18 municipalities, which total space is 515,319 square metres.

Of the 172 residences planned within a social mortgage scheme, 150 buildings with 8,386 flats of a total space of 480 square metres have been delivered.

In November, 3 residential buildings with 180 of a space of 11,762 square metres were put into operation.
