The Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan took part in the forum "Environment for Life: Everything about Housing" in Kaliningrad

Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Kudryashev took part in the events of the forum "Environment for Life: Everything about Housing", which was held on 18-19 of May, 2018 in Kaliningrad. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Construction of Russia and DOM.RF with the support of the Government of Russia and the Government of the Kaliningrad region. The Program Directorate of the Forum is the Institute for Media, Architecture and Design "Strelka". The business program of the forum was attended by 880 participants, among them representatives of federal and regional authorities from 51 subjects of the Russian Federation, architects, developers and experts in the field of residential environment. Among the invited speakers were the stars of the world architecture - the founder of MVRDV studio Vini Maas (Netherlands), the senior development consultant at MBL Housing and Development Inc Jeffrey Morgan (USA) and the partner Cityförster architecture + urbanism Martin Sobota. At four sessions, experts, leading architects, developers, businessmen and government officials discussed how housing construction stimulates urban development and how quality and affordable housing should be in the 21st century. During the joint work of the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan and the Assistant of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Natalia Fishman, the Program for the Development of Public Spaces has been implemented in the region for the fourth year already. During this time, 267 parks, embankments, pedestrian streets, squares all over Tatarstan were landscaped - each project is developed jointly with local residents. Within the framework of the program, open international competitions and sociological research are also conducted, educational workshops are organized to improve the skills of Tatarstan architects.
