On May 26, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all regional municipalities in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin reported that as of May 25, 2018, as many as 73,800 square meters of housing, which makes 44,7 per cent of the plan for 2018 and 119 per cent as compared to the same period last year, have been commissioned in Tatarstan.

Faizullin reported that 81 houses for 2,615 apartments with an area of 142,300 square meters have been put into operation under the social mortgage programme.

Since the beginning of the current year the State Construction Inspectorate and State Labour Inspectorate of the republic have carried out 526 inspections.

As part of implementation of investment programme in 2018, as many as 102 of 199 facilities are at a high state of readiness.

It is planned to commission 182 houses for 545 apartments with the area of 28,700 square metres under the programme of rental housing, including three multi-apartment houses for 365 apartments with the area of 16,900 square metres in the city of Innopolis and 179 individual houses with the area of 11,800 square metres in 12 municipal regions of the republic.

It is scheduled to accommodate 297 orphans and children left without parental care with the allocated budget of 355m 286,2 thousand roubles.

The participants of the meeting discussed the plan for the construction of multi-apartment investment houses, which is 120 houses in 2018. As many as 53 houses with the area of 484,300 square metres have been commissioned.

As many as 3,577 of 8,370 planned houses of low-rise construction (including individual housing construction) have been put into operation which makes 43 per cent of the plan, 4793 houses have left.

As of May 25, the major repairs at 22 of 46 facilities of the State Veterinary Service and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic have been finished.

The construction of six medical and obstetric centres and the capital repair of seven medical stations and hospitals are underway.

At the end of the meeting, Faizullin reported on the implementation of the construction programme of universal sports grounds and facilities, block modular ski centres and indoor swimming pools.

During the meeting, Minnikhanov reminded that the construction season has started and instructed to pay special attention to the quality of the used construction materials and the quality of the construction work.
