In the Ministry a working group is set up to eliminate water main breakthrough in Elabuga

In the Ministry of construction, architecture and housing-communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan there has been set up a working group to eliminate the consequences of water main breakthrough in Elabuzhskyi municipal district. This group is headed by Minister I. Faizullin. The working group includes specialists of the Minstroy, chiefs of Elabuzhsky region, as well as  organizations involved in breakdown elimination. Since the moment when it became known about the emergency shutdown of water supply, the first deputy Minister of Ministry of construction, architecture and housing-communal of the Republic of Tatarstan F.M. Khanifov left for Elabuzhskyi municipal district. He and the head of the region G.E.Yemelyanov are controlling works on the site.

As for 6 o’clock in the morning it is known that a scheme of switching from the main water pipe line to an off-duty one is being prepared. It is supposed that it will work via pipe unit “Maksimovsky”.  At 8 o’clock in the morning it was reported that there had been found the place of water inrush in the area of the bridge across the river Toima. At present the clearing of road is being performed for passing of specialty vehicles to the accident site (in the area of settlement Enaberdino). Emergency response teams are provided with all necessary equipment and materials.

About 600 houses are left without water in Elabuzhsky region. The population is supplied with water by water tankers. Enterprises of heat supply network maintain heat supply of all facilities, boiler plants water supply is also provided by water tankers. Objects of cultural and everyday aspects of social life continue their work in the fixed mode.
