Navigation system for parkings was presented in Minstroy today

Today Deputy Minister of construction, architecture and HCS of RT A.M  Frolov held a meeting with representatives of companies carrying out construction of parkings. There were presented navigation systems "RUPARK". These are special devices intended for the equipment of parkings and based on application of ultrasound. In real-time mode ultrasonic sensors spot a car on each parking space and direct a driver to an empty one by means of navigation boards and light indicators. The system collects statistical information on parking work, informs drivers about available places, providing process in the shortest possible way deprived of discomfort. This new system will allow to use a car parking more effectively, to increase its capacity and to reduce quantity of traffic blocks.

A.M. Frolov, conducting the meeting underlined that today it’s important not only to construct a parking, but also to make it convenient for citizens and city visitors. During the meeting company representatives were asked a lot of questions. In particular there were questions concerning power system effectiveness, its technical characteristics, and possibility to use them in realized projects.
