A gala reception was held in the Ministry in honor of the veterans of the Second World War.

5 May 2012, Saturday

As the years go by we more and more understand  the unfadable act of courage of our people and their great sacrifice made for the sake of the Great Victory. We greet those people who survived the awful hardship during the years of the Second World War.

Minister I.E.Faizullin met former officers of the Ministry – A.G. Gimadeev, a veteran of the Second World War, and other people who were born in the time of the War and lived in those tragic years.

When the reception began the minister made an opening speech where there were the words of sincere gratitude and wishes for good health, happiness, peace and welfare for the veterans’ families.

All the people attending this reception remembered their fathers and mothers, relatives and friends, kind-heartedness and kindness of all people during the war and postwar years.

An accordion player performed some well-known war songs so as to relieve painful memories and tears of the audience. Nobody was left unfazed, because such meetings make us move on for the sake of those who died young. The veterans were happy to speak to each other for together they worked for the benefit of the construction industry of the Republic of Tatarsan.

During the reception memorable photos were taken and all veterans got presents.
