Working visit of the President of the Republic of Tatastan R.N. Minnikhanov to Nizhnekamsky and Yelabuzhsky regions of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov together with the Minister of construction, architecture and housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E. Faizullin made a working visit to Nizhnekamsky and Yelabuzhsky regions.

In Nizhnekamsky region R.N. Minnikhanov visited the construction site and held an internal meeting on the construction of the facilities of the Network of petrochemical and oil processing plants in Nizhnekamsk city: hydrocracking units and facilities of Defense Industry Complex of Stage 1А1 of the Network. In the republican main office for the construction of the Network of petrochemical and oil processing plants in Nizhnekamsk city the President held a meeting on  the Network production activities, completion of seasonal construction works of Stage 1А1, and the construction of Stage1Б – Hydrocracking Unit.

Today the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov and the Minister of construction, architecture and housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E. Faizullin held an internal meeting on a special economic zone development in SEZ Alabuga. Deputy Director General of OJSC Special Economic Zones V.V. Dubovik (Moscow city), heads of the republican ministries and departments as well as heads of general contracting organizations OJSC Kamgenergostroi and CJSC Trest Kamdorstroi took part in the meeting.

The expansion of the special economic zone territory and the construction of social infrastructure facilities (cottage village and houses for the resident specialists of SEZ Alabuga) were discussed at the meeting.

The President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov together with the guests participated in the ceremony of the start-up of free custom zone procedure within the territory of the second phase of SEZ Alabuga construction. Then the President and the guests visited the construction site of MDF production plan of LLC Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry (Turkey). According to the business plan the amount of investment in this project will be about 3,4 billion rubles. At the moment  497,381 mln. rubles were used including 202,342 mln. rubles in the first quarter of 2012. The production is to be started up in 2013.
