Information support of town-planning and development of the territories was discussed today in the Ministry

The round table concerning methodological support for town-planning and development of the territories was held today within the framework of the 19th all-Russian forum “Geoinformatics in Russia. Actual status and future development” in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was organized by the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Interregional Non-Governmental Organization “GIS-Asotsiatsia”.

First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan F.M. Khanifov as well as the Head of Architecture and Town-planning Department N.G. Vasilyev participated in the event. Among the participants there were also experts and heads of enterprises dealing with information technologies.

The aim of the round-table discussion was to consider major questions concerning the development of town planning documentation and information support for town planning activities.  The participants listened to the reports of the representatives of the town planning authorities as well as considered the questions on the information system operation within the territory of the Republic.
