The most important stage of the Kazan underground construction was completed today

Today the development of the left running tunnel leading from metro station “Dekabristov” to metro station “Kozya sloboda” was completed by the tunnel-boring unit NFM Altynchech.
For the period from November 30th, 2011 to June 4th, 2012 1363 running meters were developed. Maximum speed of the developing works in April 2012 equaled to 318 running meters per month.
The completion of the development work in this running-tunnel is a connecting link between the 1st and the 2d sectors of the First underground line from metro station “Prospekt Pobedy” to metro station “Aviastroitelnaya”.
