The results of the previous heating season were summarized in the Cabinet of Ministers

Today the internal meeting of Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan “On results of arrangement of fuel and energy and housing complexes of the Republic of Tatarstan during the heating season of 2011/2012, and tasks for preparation for heating season of 2012/2013” was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan I.Sh.khalikov and with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N.Minnikhanov in the Government House. The key report was made by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E.Faizullin.

As compared to the period of 2010/2011 a high total level of the facilities readiness was maintained during the reporting heating period in the Republic, and less emergency shutdowns took place during the heating season.

At the beginning of the heating season the readiness of the heating systems of residential houses equaled to 97.9%, of social facilities – 99%, and the readiness of health care facilities equaled to 100 %, of educational facilities – 99.8%, of cultural facilities – 99.9%.

During the heating season of 2011/2012 360 emergency shutdowns were recorded and that is 125 less as compared to the period of 2010/2011. When reporting Minister I.E.Faizullin briefly mentioned the causes of the most serious accidents.

Due payment for housing and public utilities services is greatly important for the operation of the housing and public utilities network, the enforcement of the measures ensuring the preparation for a heating season and timely payment for consumed energy resources. As of June 1st, 2012 the collection of payments of the citizens equaled to 97.2% that is 1.5% more as compared to the similar period of 2011.

Moreover, from the beginning of the current year a monthly payment shortage caused the increase of the citizens’ indebtedness by 293 million rubles, and a total amount of the citizens’ indebtedness equaled to 3 billion 365 million rubles as of June 1st, 2012 .

Upon commenting the key report the President of the Republic dwelled on the issue concerning the development of single payments centers. This decision was made to ensure the transparency of movement of funds paid by citizens for housing and public utilities services of management companies, and transferred to resources supplying organizations and then transferred to gas and power suppliers.

Head of Volga Region Administration of Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Inspection in the Republic of Tatarstan B.G.Petrov, deputy head of the State Housing Inspection of he Republic of Tatarstan I.M.Shaidullin and chairman of the State Committee on Tariffs M.R.Zaripov reported at the meeting.
