The Ministry is considering the standards of public utilities consumption

Today a working meeting on the adoption of the standards of public utilities consumption took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by Deputy Minister A.M. Frolov.

It is to be recalled that on September 1st, 2012 new rules for providing public utilities shall come into force, and for the application thereof it is essential to approve the standards of public utilities consumption.

In the context of the adoption of the Federal Law of 27/07/2010 No. 237-FZ the authority to approve the standards of public utilities consumption (except gas and electric power supply) were referred to the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan by the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan of 2/12/2010 No. 976.

Thus before September 1st, 2012 the Ministry need to do a significant amount of work and approve the standards of public utilities consumption in 45 municipalities by groups of houses according to the level of improvement and the number of floors required heat and hot water supply including standards of all-house needs; standards of cold water supply including those of all-house needs and water disposal; standards of public utilities consumption namely heat and cold water supply when using a land plot and outbuildings.

Today representatives of the State Committee on tariffs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Centre of Economic and Social Research under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, committees of Housing and Public Utilities of cities and areas as well as heads of organizations of utilities complex participated in the meeting.
