Builders of the Republic commissioned more than 54 percent of the annual amount of new housing

Today a videoconference meeting on the construction and commissioning of housing, the provision of housing for the veterans, and the implementation of the Republican target program on citizens’ movement from failing housing stock was held in the Government House under the chairmanship of the President of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov and with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic I.Sh.Halikov. At the beginning of the meeting the participants discussed the formation of the price per square meter according to the programs implemented by the State Housing Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The key report was made by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan  I.E. Faizullin. He said that as of August 23d, 2012 1 million 349.2 thousand square meters of housing that was more than 54% of the annual amount had been commissioned in the Republic. Before the end of the year it is essential to build and put into operation 1 million 130.8 thousand square meters of housing. According to the program of the State Housing Fund 255 houses for 4 thousand 311 apartments with a total area of ​​261 thousand 400 square meters were commissioned in the Republic.

162 houses for 756 veterans are being built in the Republic. As of today, 82 houses for 315 veterans have been commissioned.

Separately, the report dealt with the provision of housing for certain categories of citizens. The Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan is continuing to issue housing certificates for     Chernobyl cleanup veterans and forced migrants. As of August 23d, 2012 143 certificate for 214 million 81 thousand rubles have been issued and sent to be used to local governments.

In 2012 the republican budget funds were used to issue 124 housing certificates in the amount of 112 million rubles for orphans, of which 92 certificates have been used. For large families there were issued 39 housing certificates in the amount of 11 million rubles, of which only 14 certificates have been used.

The program on the elimination of failing housing stock was also discussed at the meeting. According to the main program on citizens’ movement in 2012 a total number of apartment houses is 77,                   29 municipalities are involved

Additional program on citizens’ movement from failing housing stock for 2012. This program involves 3 areas (Agryzsky and Vysokogorsky municipal areas, Kazan city). A total number of apartment houses included in the additional program for 2012 is 31.

Altogether according to the programs of 2012 it is planned to move 1 thousand 856 inhabitants living in 705 apartments from 108 apartment houses, and the area to be provided for these inhabitants is 23 thousand 725 square meters.
