Most of the treatment facilities in Tatarstan do not comply with existing standards. More than 1.6 billion rubles were allocated for the reconstruction and construction of wastewater treatment plants in Tatarstan. “This year, 421 million rubles were allocated under the program of republican modernization of biological treatment plants. These are 35 facilities in 20 districts of Tatarstan: 17 biological treatment plants and 18 sewage pumping stations. And at the level of Russia there is a federal project “Improvement of the Volga River”, Tatarstan also participates in it. As for today, 1 billion 200 million rubles in the republic are aimed at modernizing six facilities in six districts,” - said Yevgeny Volkov. “When we started to do this, we saw that in practice today most of the sewage treatment plants do not meet existing standards,” - said Volkov. The speaker said that the construction of sewage treatment plants will be carried out in Agryzsky (Krasny Bor) and Alekseevsky (urban-type settlement Alekseyevskoye) districts, the overhaul of sewage treatment plants will be in Zainsk, large-scale construction of sewage treatment plants in the outlets of storm sewers in Kazan, a large project for the reconstruction of sewage treatment plants in Elabuga andthe same program are planned in Tetyushi. All construction and repair works are planned to be completed by the end of this year.
The housing commissioning plan has been completed by 58% to date - more than 1 million 840 thousand square meters have been commissioned. This was announced by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin at a traditional meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
