Issues of preparation of the city and the region for the heating season were discussed in Nizhnekamsk

4 July 2025, Friday

A meeting on the preparation of the Nizhnekamsk Municipal District for the upcoming heating season was held today at the Nizhnekamsk Council House. The meeting was held by Damir Shaidullin, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with Radmir Belyaev, Head of the Executive Committee of the NMR. Representatives of key organizations involved in providing heat to the city and the region, including JSC Tatenergo, JSC Water Supply, Sewerage and Energy Management, and management companies, took part in the discussion of the issue.

Special attention was paid to a large-scale repair campaign, which is planned to replace about 47 kilometers of heating networks. The need for these works is due to the high degree of deterioration of the existing infrastructure. For the first time, such events are held simultaneously with the implementation of the republican improvement program "Our Yard". At the moment, work has been completed in 9 yards, where Tatenergo has fulfilled its obligations, and repairs are continuing on 31 yards.

Despite the positive dynamics in carrying out repairs, 70-80 thousand residents remain temporarily without hot water supply today. The city's leadership understands that this causes reasonable discontent among citizens. "Our task is to ensure reliable heat supply in winter. Temporary inconveniences associated with repair work are necessary in order to avoid serious problems during the heating season," Radmir Belyaev emphasized.

According to Damir Shaidullin, a large-scale reconstruction of heat supply networks is planned in Nizhnekamsk this year. "As part of the republican program for the modernization of municipal infrastructure for 2025, initiated by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, major repairs of heating and hot water supply networks in the amount of 794 million rubles are planned," said the first Deputy head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan.

He also recalled that this year the order of the Ministry of Energy of Russia dated November 13, 2024 No. 2234 came into force. It approved new rules for ensuring readiness for the heating period and the procedure for conducting an appropriate assessment. "Heads of municipalities, heat supply and heating grid organizations, consumers of thermal energy need to be guided by this document and carry out all prescribed measures on time," Damir Shaidullin said.
