Modernization of utility networks in Naberezhnye Chelny’s 31st microdistrict is 85% complete
Major repairs of utility networks in the 31st microdistrict of Naberezhnye Chelny are ongoing. The work began in 2025 within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life.” At that time, 1.2 km of sewer networks were replaced and 30 reinforced concrete wells were installed.
This year, it is planned to lay polyethylene sewer pipes along a 770-meter section and install 16 wells. The overall completion stands at 85%.
According to the Main Directorate of Engineering Networks of the Republic of Tatarstan, the steel pipeline was commissioned in 1972 and is nearly 90% worn out. Therefore, emergency repairs have been carried out here multiple times.
According to the project, work on this section will be completed in August. The implementation of the project will improve the quality of services for 5,478 residents of the microdistrict.
It should be noted that this year, 15 коммунальной infrastructure facilities will be repaired in Naberezhnye Chelny under the national project “Infrastructure for Life.”
