Representatives of the Housing and Utilities Reform Support Fund spoke about the need for new approaches to the sectoral education system. The presentation of the educational projects of the Housing and Utility Sector Reform Support Fund took place today in the Ministry of Construction, which was attended by experts, representatives of municipal authorities, utilities, management companies, specialized universities and technical schools. For systemic transformations in the housing and communal services industry, highly qualified personnel are needed. An acute shortage of specialists hinders the effective implementation of many federal projects and legislative initiatives. However, as Olga Grishina, the head of the training project management department of the Housing and Utilities Sector Reform Fund, said, this requires new approaches to the sectoral education system, taking into account the introduction of innovative energy-saving materials and technologies used in construction and communal services fields.

Opening the event, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexei Frolov, noted that the main factor in the satisfaction of citizens is the condition of apartment buildings, emphasizing that the Housing and Utilities Fund has done tremendous work in this direction. The first deputy minister also emphasized that the utility services are facing serious tasks to improve the quality of services provided, and to re-equip the industry. And in this, one of the main roles should be played by specialized universities, technical schools, their cooperation between themselves and with leading specialized enterprises: During the meeting, special attention was paid to on-the-job training. Representatives of the Housing and Utilities Fund are confident that the virtual training simulator "ZHEKA-PROFI" could contribute to solving this issue. "ZHEKA-PROFI" is the first development in Russia that allows to remotely learn and test the skills of servicing an apartment building at different stages of the life cycle and in different socio-economic situations. In addition, the simulator is a test module of the competency “Operation and maintenance of an apartment building”, developed according to WorldSkills standards, and presented at the 45th WorldSkills World Championship.
