Ministry of Regional Development inspects regions’ readiness for autumn-winter heating season

Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing I.E. Faizullin took part in a video conference chaired by Deputy Minister of Regional Development of the Russian Federation Sergei Darkin. Among the topics discussed there was the preparation for the autumn and winter heating season and the construction of low-budget housing.

As of today all educational facilities are ready for the heating season. Health and cultural facilities are completing their preparatory work. Heating started in 50.6% of residential houses of the Republic of Tatarstan. 11 warehouses with 145 isolated generating plants have been created in the Republic to eliminate potential accidents or emergency situations. Altogether there are 333 back-up sources of power supply available in the enterprises of housing and public utilities.

As far as housing construction is concerned, as of September 22d, 2012 110 residential houses with a total area of 252.9 thousand square meters for 4 279 apartments have been commissioned according to the GZhF program. In future 2013-2014 the planned amount of housing construction is 400 sq. meters a year minimum.
