Editorial Board of magazine “Stroiekspertiza” meets today in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan

Today a meeting of members of the editorial board of trade magazine “Stroiekspertiza” took place in the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan. The participants discussed urgent issues of the current state of the construction industry. The meeting was attended by Deputy Ministers of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan  A.S.Akhmetshin and V.N. Kudryashev, president of RPN “Builders’ Association of RT” R.Sh. Khalitov,  rector of KGASU R.K. Nizamov, chief of the State Construction Supervision Inspection of RT V.A. Kudryashov, president of the Union of public utilities of  RT A.Kh. Khairullin and others.

 The meeting began with a discussion of the competitiveness of construction companies under conditions of Russia's participation in WTO. Most of the participants agreed that the competition was important and useful, and that foreign companies introduced in the Russian market could improve the standards of labor organization.   A.S. Akhmetshin said that today Russian major construction organizations could be in demand in foreign countries. But to make it true one should do his best. According to him it is essential, first of all, to develop a corresponding regulatory framework and change the principles of the work.

The second issue raised at the meeting was the quality of education because the quality of the training determines the final quality of constructed facilities or produced construction materials. This topic was discussed a lot, and the participants exchanged opinions both on training of senior and middle management, representatives of working professions and attraction of personnel from the near abroad. During the meeting the experts in construction and design exchanged views and determined what questions were worth considering in the near future.
