A list of the facilities required to host the FIFA World Cup 2018 developed in Moscow

Today, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan I.E. Faizullin is on his working trip in Moscow, where, together with Minister of Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan R.T.Burganov he is taking part in a number of meetings on the development of the infrastructure of the host cities of the FIFA World Cup in 2018. The first meeting headed by Deputy Minister Yu.U.Reilyan was held in the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia. During the event it was noted that currently Kazan was a city with high readiness in many aspects. The second meeting was held in the Ministry of Sports of Russia and was chaired by Head of the Department V.LMutko. By order of the President of the Russian Federation to develop the Program to prepare for the FIFA World Cup in Russia in 2018 the Ministry of Sports of Russia is holding a series of meetings with stakeholders of the Russian Federation and federal authorities. Today the representatives of Tatarstan made their reports. The purpose of these meetings is to develop a list of the infrastructure required to host the FIFA World Cup in 2018. The list will form the basis for the future Program.
To date, more than 126,000 residents of Tatarstan have taken part in the All-Russian online voting to select improvement projects. This was announced by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, at a briefing at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In Tatarstan, the All-Russian online voting is ongoing to select public areas planned for improvement in 2027. The voting is held within the framework of the federal project “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment” of the national project “Infrastructure for Life.”
Under the state program “Integrated Development of Rural Areas,” the construction of a school in Buinsk continues with funding exceeding 766 million rubles.
