News from the construction site of the Complex of oil processing and petrochemical plants in Nizhnekamsk city

Construction and installation work is being carried out at the Integrated Hydrocracking Unit (Stage 1Б) of the Complex of oil processing and petrochemical plants of “TANEKO” OJSC designed to further increase oil refining efficiency. According to the planned start-up and commissioning, the commission of the facilities of Stage 1Б will be carried in two stages:

- start-up circuit I (49 facilities) including section 4100 (hydrocracking), section 3000 (intersection overpass), section 3100 (hydrogen production unit), section 3120 (hydrogen purification unit), unit 070 (interdepartmental overpass) and utilities;

- start-up circuit II (24 facilities) including section 4600 (lubricant refining unit), section 3110 (hydrogen production unit), section 3400 (sulfur production unit) and utilities.

Construction and installation work is to be completed:

start-up circuit I - June 2013

start-up circuit II - December 2013.

More than 3.000 people work on the site. The main contractors include  “Tatelectromontazh” OJSC, “Kamgesenergostroi” OJSC, “NefteGasEngineering” LLC, “MC “Glavneftegazstroiservis” LLC,  “Tatspetsneftekhimmontazh” LLC, “ AK VNZM” OJSC,  Research and Production Company  “TMIM” LLC,  “Kulonstroi” CJSC and  “Arslan” LLC.

Since the beginning of the construction 9.6 billion rubles have been used for construction and installation work.

As of today, most of the general construction work has been completed (excavation – 443.088 m3, driven piles - 11 143 pcs., installed precast concrete - 5146 m3); the equipment is being installed and connected, process pipelines are being installed (erected metal structures - 33,946 tons, underground pipelines - 14,114 linear meters, above-ground pipelines - 121,834 linear meters), the large-scale equipment has been mostly installed. 785 units of production equipment will be provided including that of the following companies: “Ilsung”, “UOP”, “Howden”, “Bombas Ercole Marelli”, “Hamon”, “Weir Gabbioneta” as well as “Uralkhimmash” OJSC.

In December “Tatelectromontazh” OJSC is going to start voltage supply to the distribution transformer substation and then to electrical receivers of particular consumers of the Integrated Hydrocracking Unit.
