Two new units were commissioned at TANECO

On April 17, during his working visit to Nizhnekamsk region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of launching hydroprocessing unit for heavy coking gas oil and sulfolane extractive distillation unit of an aromatic hydrocarbon production complex at the Taneko Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex.The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan R.N. Minnikhanov, the General Director of PJSC "TATNEFT" N.U. Maganov, the head of the Nizhnekamsk municipal region A.R. Metshin, the heads of the republican ministries and departments. The new gas oil hydrotreatment unit is capable of producing modern ecological fuel that complies with the requirements of the international convention for the prevention of pollution from MARPOL-2020 ships and prepares raw materials for motor fuel of cars with Euro-6 engines. Before launching the new plants, Rustam Minnikhanov made a detour of the TANECO industrial site, got acquainted with the progress of construction and commissioning, and started the construction of delayed coking unit No. 2 with a capacity of 2 million tons/year with a completion date on 2021. The main contractors working on the site: LLC "SMU-7", LLC "Spetsprommontazh", LLC "Servistehnomontazh", LLC PO "NGO", LLC "StroyMontazhEngineering", LLC "Management Company TNKHM", LLC "KITstroy", LLC "Svartekhstroy", LLC "CHEAZ", LLC "VPS". The President of the Republic of Tatarstan also got acquainted with a line for the production of hygienic liquid for hands with antibacterial effect. In the fight against coronavirus infection, PJSC "TATNEFT" in a short time organized the production of these demanded products on the basis of the TANECO complex.
