Tatarstan projects were awarded a gold sign at the "Zodchestvo 2020" International Festival

At the XXVIII International Architectural Festival "Zodchestvo 2020", held on November 11-13 in Moscow (Gostiny Dvor Exhibition Complex), the projects of the Republic of Tatarstan were awarded the highest award - a gold sign in the category "Urban Environment and Complex Urban Projects" of the "Regions of Russia" competition. The festival was organized by the Union of Architects of Russia. The theme of the festival is “Eternity”, focused on finding and identifying modern trends in architecture and urban planning. The competition "Regions of Russia" was held with the aim of identifying the best examples of architectural and urban planning policies and practices in the regions and cities of Russia, new approaches to creating a living environment, activating and developing urban planning activities in Russia, popularizing architectural practices, original concepts, innovative solutions in urban planning and a systemic increase in the level of the living environment. The exposition of Tatarstan at the exhibition was timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Tatarstan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic under the title “Architecture of Tatarstan through the century”. In preparation for the participation of the republic's exposition at the festival under the leadership of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan took part the assistant to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Olesya Baltusova, the Agency for Investment Development of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Department of Architecture of the city of Kazan, Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, State Unitary Enterprise "Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt", the Foundation for the Revival of Historical Monuments and culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
