Alexey Frolov, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, announced this at a briefing in the republican cabinet.
“During the reporting period, taking into account 2020, we allocated more than 14 billion rubles for tasks related to public spaces. Of this amount, we have 9 billion 765 million rubles - this is purely republican funds. The remaining difference is federal support and a grant program that is directed to small towns and historical settlements,” - he said. The first deputy minister also added that all applications were made by specialists who were formed locally, within the Republic: “The competition in the part of small towns and historical settlements is a project to which we show aerobatics on the ground in terms of participation in the competition, and here already involved specialists who are formed in our localities. We can safely say that we have achieved great competencies, formed a pool of relevant specialists, which today exist both at the Institute for the Development of Cities of Tatarstan and at the heads of the localities. This allows us to participate with maximum performance in the federal competition. ”Recall that the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements has been held since 2018. Small towns with a population of less than 100 thousand people and historical settlements of federal and regional significance, with the exception of administrative centers and cities of federal significance, can take part in the competition. Over the three years of participation in the competition, 26 projects from Tatarstan received grants in the amount of 1 billion 635 million rubles.
