The meeting of the Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the direction "Construction, housing and communal services, urban environment" was held today in Moscow by the head of the commission, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting, which was held via videoconference, was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin, Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia Irek Fayzullin, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin, representatives of interested federal and regional executive authorities, scientific and expert organizations. Rustam Minnikhanov recalled that almost a year ago, the Russian Government adopted a resolution on preferential mortgages at 6.5%. This made it possible to maintain the pace of housing construction and ensure the demand for it. Summing up a brief summary, Rustam Minnikhanov said: in 2020, the issuance of mortgage loans in Russia increased by 35% and by 42% - transactions in the primary market. In Tatarstan, the number of issued mortgage loans increased by 40%, transactions in the primary market - by 46%. The meeting participants also discussed the issue of complex building and the development of territories.
