The Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan summed up the results of the past heating season

The results of the work of the organizations of the fuel and energy, housing and communal complexes of the Republic of Tatarstan in the heating period of 2020/2021 were discussed today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting in the mode of video conferencing with all cities and regions of the republic was chaired by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the work. The Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin reported that by the beginning of the last heating season in the republic a lot of work had been done to prepare housing, communal and social facilities, which made it possible to ensure uninterrupted heat supply. The heating period passed in the normal mode, however, there were also emergencies with the suspension of the provision of utilities, which were eliminated within the standard time frame. A total of 1 thousand 556 incidents and accidents occurred. The analysis shows that the largest number of accidents occurs in the water supply sector - 1 thousand 339 cases or 86% of the total. A systemic problem in the housing and communal services sector is the state of engineering networks - this is one of the main reasons for the high accident rate. According to statistical data, the degree of wear and tear of networks in the Republic of Tatarstan is 54%. At the same time, they are dilapidated and require replacement of more than 30% of communications. The Minister noted that thanks to the support of the President of Tatarstan, the emergency technical reserve is replenished annually in the amount of more than 80 million rubles. Equipment, materials and other components are purchased, which are then sent to municipalities to eliminate accidents in the housing and communal services system.
