On the Kazanka embankment, two new sites were opened
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Councilor of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Nikita Stasishin examined two new sections of the Kazanka embankment. On the first section - from the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Millennium Bridge - there are sports grounds for playing football, beach volleyball and petanque. In addition, four more new aisles from Podluzhnaya street were opened. During the inspection of the embankment, the guests were presented with the project of the audio installation "River Gate". At specialized sites, citizens will be able to relax and listen to a small audio performance based on stories about the Kazanka River and famous residents of the city. Then the guests visited the section of the embankment from the Kremlin to the Kirov dam. There are comfortable pedestrian zones along the water, a green amphitheater with spaces for relaxation, benches and sun loungers, landscaping has been carried out.
