Ilshat Gimaev took part in a visit to correctional colony No. 2 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin visited Kazan Correctional Colony No. 2.

Accompanied by the Head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan Eduard Khialeev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin and heads of interested ministries and departments of the region got acquainted with the production and economic activities of the institution.

The delegation also included First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic – Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Competition Development Ayrat Shamsiev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic Ilshat Gimaev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic Marat Minibayev, Deputy Chairman of the Union of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Shevelev.

The guests made a tour of the main industrial areas of the correctional institution: foundry, electric furnace section, mechanical assembly shop, sewing section, canteen for convicts, the colony's economic maintenance unit; got acquainted with the products produced in the institution.

Within the framework of the working meeting, the participants discussed issues of cooperation concerning the placement of state and municipal orders in correctional institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service, interaction with industrial enterprises of the republic, attracting entrepreneurs to the joint organization of production.
