Alexey Frolov took part in a meeting on the implementation of the federal project «Improvement of the Volga»

On December 1, 2022, a meeting on the implementation of the federal project «Improving the Volga» was held in Nizhny Novgorod with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Victoria Abramchenko, representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov.

Alexey Frolov, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan, made a report on the implementation of the activities of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the federal project «Improving the Volga».

As part of his speech, the Deputy Minister spoke about the reconstruction of biological sewage treatment plants in Kazan, the reclamation of silt fields of biological treatment plants in Kazan and the dismantling of inactive pipelines of the Lake field in the waters of the Nizhnekamsk reservoir.

The meeting reviewed the current results of the implementation of the federal project «Improvement of the Volga», discussed issues related to the extension of this federal project after 2024 as part of a new joint federal project for the improvement of water bodies, as well as the creation of a single information resource on drinking water sources.
