Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin congratulated Tatarstan builders via video link. «Tatarstan builders have always been distinguished by professionalism and high quality of work. Today, the construction complex of the republic takes an active part both in the construction of facilities in Tatarstan and in other regions of Russia. This anniversary is especially important for me, since I worked as the Minister of Construction of Tatarstan for 10 years. I heartily congratulate the employees and veterans of the industry,» said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

Irek Fayzullin, in turn, called the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan one of the strongest in the country. «I wish the system built in the construction industry of the republic to be preserved and work as actively,» the Minister stressed.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that in Tatarstan, over the centuries-old history, builders have erected the most important objects: industrial production, modern social and sports facilities, public spaces, transport infrastructure facilities, unique monuments of ancient architecture have been reconstructed.

«For 100 years, entire cities have been erected in the republic: Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk and the IT city Innopolis. We are rightfully proud of the achievements of our architects, builders and all masters of their craft!» the President of the Republic of Tatarstan addressed the participants of the event.

He noted that the unique appearance of Tatarstan contributes to the increase of tourist potential: «It is no coincidence that a monument to Tatar and Russian architects was erected in the Kazan Kremlin. This is a sign of gratitude to the builders and their important profession.»

Separately, Rustam Minnikhanov noted veterans of the industry and labor dynasties of builders. «At all times, man has built, creating favorable conditions for life. Architectural styles changed, new building materials and technologies were created, but the mission of the builders remained. «Make life better!»- this slogan still coincides with the goal of Tatarstan's development,» Rustam Minnikhanov stressed.

He drew attention to the fact that today the construction industry is one of the key sectors of the republic's economy. For the first time in the history of Tatarstan, the volume of commissioned housing exceeded 3 million square meters. Last year, the construction industry implemented state programs and measures for almost 97 billion rubles. Within their framework, over 4.6 thousand objects have been built and repaired.

«The cities and villages of the republic are being transformed by the efforts of architects and builders. There is no doubt that Tatarstan is still waiting for great construction projects and large–scale projects. I want to thank all the builders for their well-coordinated teamwork,» the President of Tatarstan added.

Denis Pushilin congratulated representatives of the construction industry of Tatarstan on the anniversary date. He expressed confidence that cooperation between Tatarstan and the DPR will develop, including in the field of construction.

Then the awards ceremony took place. In particular, Irek Fayzullin was awarded the Order «Duslyk».
