A new ice palace has opened in the Alekseevsky district

The opening of the new ice palace “Alex Arena” took place in the Alekseevsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The solemn event was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Frolov and others.

The customer of the new facility was GKU “Glavinveststroy RT”, the general contractor was LLC IC “Altyn Group”. The total area of the one-storey sports facility is 3,386.86 square meters.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan expressed gratitude to the builders who implement such projects in the shortest possible time and with high quality. He recalled that this facility is included in the federal project “Sport is the norm of life” of the national project Demography.

Systematic work is being carried out in Tatarstan to create a modern sports infrastructure. For the republic, the opening of this sports facility in the Alekseevsky district has become an anniversary - this is the 50th ice palace.

In addition, as part of the working trip of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Alekseevsky district, a symbolic stone was laid in the foundation of the Badminton Center under construction. Alexey Pesoshin recalled that the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov launched a program for the construction of badminton centers in the Republic of Tatarstan. In total, within the framework of the program, it is planned to build 9 badminton centers in the areas most actively developing this sport.
