Marat Aizatullin: Systematic work continues in Tatarstan to solve the problems of defrauded shareholders

Tatarstan has again exceeded its obligations to introduce housing: as well as in Russia as a whole, the previous record was broken in the republic and 3 million 93 thousand square meters were introduced. Tatarstan ranks first in the Volga Federal District in terms of housing, sixth among all regions of the country. This was told by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin today at the board dedicated to the results of the department's work in 2022.

Today, 213 apartment buildings with a living area of more than 2 million square meters are under construction, of which only one house - on Krasnokokshayskaya St. in Kazan for 230 apartments - is being built according to the old rules.

The Head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan also noted an increase in the number of construction permits issued in 2022. Thus, in comparison with the previous year, almost 2 times more construction permits were issued in Tatarstan. “This testifies to our urban development potential,” he stressed.

However, according to the Minister, it is important that the volume of housing built and under construction be provided with effective demand. Preferential mortgage programs remain a key tool for supporting the mortgage market, the validity of which has been extended until July 1, 2024. At the same time, the conditions for a family mortgage have become more attractive: if previously only families with children born before 2018 had the right to participate in the program, today families with two children under the age of 18 can take advantage of preferential family loans.

In addition, systematic work continues in Tatarstan to solve the problems of defrauded shareholders. By the end of 2022, 302 shareholders in three problematic objects were restored to their rights.

To date, there are 4 problematic objects in the republic. “The task this year is to completely close this issue and prevent the emergence of new problematic objects,” said Marat Aizatullin.
