In 2022, about 83 thousand individual residential buildings with a total area of about 12 million square meters were built on the territory of the Volga Federal District (PFD) – 11% more than a year earlier.
The share of individual houses in the total housing commissioning in the Volga Federal District is 64% and exceeds the national average. The largest share of private houses is in Tatarstan (71% of all housing commissioning in the region).
This was told at the last conference “Development of housing construction in the Volga Federal District” by the deputy head of the analytical center Dom.Russian Federation Ekaterina Vlasova.

The Head of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Aizatullin, reported on the progress of housing construction in Tatarstan today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference meeting with all municipal districts of Tatarstan.
Four cultural facilities are under construction this year. All of them are included in the state program "Integrated Rural Development" with financing of over 977 thousand rubles. This was announced today at a meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin.
