The III International Construction Championship will be held in St. Petersburg

From October 17 to 20, 2023, the III International Construction Championship will be held in St. Petersburg. This was announced by the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin at a meeting of the Federal organizing committee of the International Construction Championship.

The event was attended by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin, Director of Capital Investments, State Construction Supervision and State Expertise of the Rosatom State Corporation Gennady Sakharov, Director of Development of the branch construction complex of the Rosatom OCCS Andrey Golovanov, Deputy Director General of the presidential platform «Russia – the Land of Opportunities» Alexey Agafonov and others.

The participants discussed the draft program of the III International Construction Championship, new proposals were made, the prize fund and the final list of nominations of the competition block were approved.

Following the discussion, it was decided to include 25 individual and team nominations in three blocks – construction, design and project management. Five new nominations were added to the competition program based on the results of a special competition, which was evaluated by experts. The total prize fund of the III International Construction Championship will be more than 52.5 million rubles.

Recall that the International Construction Championship was established in February 2020 by the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation and Rosatom State Corporation. For the first time the event was held in April 2021 in Sochi, the second Championship was held in 2022 in Kazan. Since 2022, the Championship has been included in the line of projects of the presidential platform "Russia is a country of opportunities".
