The results of the work of the past year, forecasts for the next year, as well as problematic issues of manufacturers of concrete and reinforced concrete products and structures were discussed today at the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held by the Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilshat Gimaev.
The event was attended by representatives of concrete and reinforced concrete producers, as well as heads and employees of republican ministries and departments.
In his opening speech, Ilshat Gimayev noted that there are more than 70 factories in the republic, including more than 40 large and medium-sized, separate workshops and nodes with a design capacity of about 4.8 million cubic meters per year for the production of ready-mixed concrete and mortars and about 3.3 million cubic meters per year for the production of precast reinforced concrete and concrete.
According to the Deputy Minister, the provision of financial measures of state support for enterprises plays an important role in the development of production. "Unfortunately, most organizations currently lack free funds for comprehensive modernization, introduction of new technologies and expansion of production, and financial measures of state support would change this situation," the Deputy Minister stressed.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the situation on the market, cement supplies to the republic, incentive and support programs in the production of precast concrete and ready-mixed concrete from the state, as well as the shortage of qualified workers in the industry.
