The staff of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the action "Garden of Memory"
Today, employees of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the International action "Garden of Memory".
On the territory of 5 hectares of the Laishevsky municipal district, near the locality of Tarlashi, representatives of the department planted more than 500 pine seedlings.
The action takes place as part of the celebration of the 78th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Year of National Cultures and Traditions in Tatarstan.
According to the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, 1.2 million seedlings were planted in the Republic of Tatarstan today in memory of the great feat of 378 thousand Tatarstan citizens who did not return home from the front to their relatives and friends. More than 25 thousand people joined the action.
For reference. The international action "Garden of Memory" started on March 18 this year. The purpose of the action is to plant 27 million trees in memory of the 27 million who died during the Great Patriotic War.
The organizers of the action are ANO "Garden of Memory", the Victory Commanders Memorial Fund, the All-Russian public movement "Victory Volunteers" and "Forest Volunteers" with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the Federal Forestry Agency within the framework of the national project "Ecology".
