The Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed the issues of wooden housing construction

An interdepartmental meeting with the participation of representatives of LLC “Luzales” was held today in the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Ilshat Gimaev, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, delivered a welcoming speech at the event.

“To date, wooden housing construction has received support measures at the federal level. Special attention is paid to this direction in construction, since the Russian Federation is rich in forest resources,” the Deputy minister noted.

During the video conference, the possibilities of using the products of LLC “Luzales” in wooden housing construction under state programs in the Republic of Tatarstan were discussed.

Ilshat Gimaev said that in Tatarstan, wooden housing construction occupies a small share (approximately 13% of the total individual housing construction) due to the fact that the Republic of Tatarstan does not have excess wood reserves. Therefore, Tatarstan is interested in using the technologies of LLC “Luzales” in solving the construction of houses under state programs and for low-rise residential buildings.

In addition, the meeting discussed the fire resistance of wooden houses, the company's proposals for the production of biofuels and the investment activity of LLC “Luzales” in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting was attended by the General Director of LLC “Luzales” Valentin Rozhok, Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov, Head of the Department of Timber Processing and Light Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Guzel Husainova, representatives of the SEZ “Alabuga”.
