1.9 million square meters of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan

As of May 27, 1 million 904 thousand square meters were commissioned in Tatarstan, which is 61% of the annual plan. This was announced by the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin at a weekly meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting was held in videoconference mode by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin. 

Commercial housing developers have introduced 65% of the planned volume. In absolute numbers, these are 115 apartment buildings with a total area of 926 thousand square meters.

17 houses built under the social mortgage program on 67 thousand sq. m. account for 42% of the total liabilities.

The annual plan for individual housing construction has been completed by 60%.  The total area of finished houses is 911 thousand sq. m.

Marat Aizatullin also reported on labor protection measures at construction sites. He, in particular, stressed that inspections of facilities under construction are carried out constantly. Since the beginning of 2023, representatives of self-regulatory organizations have visited construction sites 971 times. Gosstroynadzor conducted 422 control and supervisory activities.

The customer of the objects of state programs – the Main Investment and Construction Department (GIS) - 244 times went to the construction sites with control and supervisory measures. All 439 violations identified since January of this year have been eliminated to date.
