Today, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Aizatullin paid a working visit to the Nurlat municipal district.
Together with the head of the Nurlat district Damir Ishkeneyev, the Minister inspected the construction of a water supply system with a water intake node in the city of Nurlat. The project for the construction of the system is being implemented from 2022 to 2023 within the framework of the Federal (regional) project "Clean Water" of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment".
The new water supply system will use installed filtration equipment for mechanical purification, thanks to which iron and manganese are removed from the water, then disinfection with a solution of sodium hypochlorite occurs, resulting in improved drinking water quality.
"The readiness of the facility is large, part of the work remains. I think by the end of September all the works will be completed, including landscaping, and by the end of the year the long-awaited water that Nurlat residents have been waiting for for more than 20 years will finally come to the city," the minister said.
As of July 2023, construction and installation work at the facility has been completed by 92% of the planned: 55.93 km of water supply has been built, 30 wells have been installed, 11 water supply chambers have been installed, 2 clean water tanks (1000 cubic meters, 2000 cubic meters) have been installed, 2 wells are ready.
