Issues of waste removal, recycling and recycling were discussed in Kazan
A round table was held today to discuss the issues of waste removal, disposal and recycling. The event was held in the Bashir Rameev IT Park.
The round table was attended by Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ilya Wolfson, First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Frolov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Marat Nuriev, deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Anisimov and Nikolai Atlasov, heads of regional garbage operators, etc.
During the meeting, proposals for amendments to industry legislation and ideas for the introduction of practices designed to improve the situation in the field of waste management were discussed.
Alexey Frolov stressed in his speech that today the main task is to attract investments for concession agreements in terms of infrastructure construction, since the existing landfills are as full as possible.
In addition, together with municipalities, it is necessary to legalize and coordinate with residents the primary places of waste accumulation. And also, to consider approaches to the application of the new Federal Law No. 476-FZ of 04.08.2023, which amends Federal Law No. 89-FZ "On Production and Consumption Waste".
