Issues of labor protection in construction were discussed in the Republican Ministry of Construction

Ilnur Nurmukhametov, Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, held a seminar on labor protection in construction within the framework of changes in regulatory legal acts in the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan today.

 

"Construction is one of the most traumatic sectors of the economy and safety issues at construction sites require increased attention," the Deputy minister said addressing the participants of the seminar.

 

According to him, the main types of accidents are falling from a height, collapses and the collapse of objects, which occupy 90% of the total number of cases.

 

In order to prevent and prevent accidents in the construction sector, the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan coordinates work in two directions: prevention and control. It should be noted that over the past five years, the total number of accidents in construction has decreased, from 24 cases in 2018 to 11 in 2022.

 

"Detours of facilities under construction under state programs are carried out on a regular basis and special attention is always paid to compliance with labor protection rules and regulations," Ilnur Nurmukhametov stressed.

 

During the meeting, current regulatory legal acts on the training of managers and employees in the construction industry, labor protection in the organization of work at height, the procedure for passing an independent assessment of qualifications and the procedure for entering information into the National Register of Specialists and others were considered.

 

The reports were made by the chairman of the training and methodological center "Interregional Association of Labor Protection" Fanil Gabdrakhmanov, Deputy head of the State Labor Inspectorate for the Republic of Tatarstan Alsu Zaynutdinova, Director of the Qualification Assessment Center "Volga region" Raisa Babanazarova.

 

Also, an exhibition of personal protective equipment in construction, magazines, posters, and safety signs was organized as part of the event.
