The Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Tatarstan will take the initiative to allow the rental of housing and communal services networks in small towns

Tatarstan will take the initiative to introduce lease agreements for engineering infrastructure for settlements where up to 200 thousand people live. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexey Frolov at the VI Interregional Industry Forum on Public-Private Partnership, which is taking place in Kazan.

The initiative is planned to be presented at a meeting of the Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation on construction, Housing and Communal Services and the urban environment, headed by Rustam Minnikhanov of the Republic of Tatarstan.

«We want to discuss this issue once again at the federal level in order to look through our prism, our practice, and approach a solution with an optimal approach, in a short time, in order to change federal legislation,» Frolov said.

Recall that the VI Interregional Industry Forum on Public-Private Partnership will be held in Kazan from November 27-28, 2023. The event is organized by the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan, which is the authorized body for the implementation of PPP projects in Tatarstan.
