A competition of the best architectural solutions of Kazan was held at Kazanysh

Kazan hosts the International Architectural and Construction Forum "Kazanysh". On the final day, the winners of the review competition for the best architectural and urban development facility in Kazan were announced. The awards were presented by the mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the first deputy head of Kazan Denis Kalinkin and the chief architect of the city Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina.

The competition is held on the initiative of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Institute of Urban Development. The declared works were evaluated in three categories: implemented coordinated projects, unrealized coordinated projects, as well as unrealized uncoordinated objects.

The Kazanysh International Architectural and Construction Forum is a unique international platform for the search for modern architectural techniques. The purpose of the event is to draw attention to the profession of architect, to show and identify ways to preserve the cultural and historical value of cities, while simultaneously creating modern and functional spaces for living and working.
