Construction work continues on the first section of the second metro line in Kazan

The second route of the Kazan metro will connect five districts of the city: Privolzhsky, Sovetsky, Novo-Savinovsky, Moskovsky and Kirovsky. The first section is 5.37 km long and includes four stations: "100th anniversary of the TASSR" (at Julius Fuchik Street), "Akademicheskaya" (at the intersection of Fuchik and Zavoysky streets), "Zilant" (intersection of Fuchik and Lomzhinskaya streets) and "Tulpar" (at the corner of Pobedy Avenue and ul. Sakharov). At the moment, the total percentage of work performed is 29%.

 

Waterproofing, laying of brickwork, dismantling of foundation fence beams and creation of reinforced concrete structures are currently being carried out at Tulpar station, as well as work on the upper construction path (VSP) and backfilling of the soil.

 

The fencing of the pit and the development of its soil have been completed at the Zilant station, and work on waterproofing and the construction of reinforced concrete structures is currently underway.

 

At Akademicheskaya, the foundation pit has been secured with the help of borehole piles, and work continues in the field of excavation development, waterproofing works and the creation of basic reinforced concrete structures.

 

At the station "100th anniversary of the TASSR", the installation of drilling piles and GCC was carried out, at the moment the excavation is being developed, its strengthening and the installation of a draft tray.

 

In addition, distillation tunnels have already been completed between the stations, and work is currently underway to create a connecting branch from Dubravnaya station to the 100th Anniversary of the TASSR station.
